If you are seeking to create a better relationship with your dog and prefer a more hands-on approach in your dog’s training, then our private dog training is the solution for you! Your trainer will conduct an initial assessment and develop a customized training program catered specifically to you and your beloved pet. This program will include the training that your dog need: obedience, specific commands, socialization, training to prevent bad habits, and behavior modification. Each training session is an hour long and will be held at the KC Dawgz training facility, scheduled according to your availability. Our professional dog trainers will give you the skills and personal guidance you need to create a better relationship between you and your furry friend.

Puppy Private Training – $399
We offer these four 1 hour lessons to pups up to 12 months of age! It’s essentially the same curriculum as our Puppy 101 program, but it’s done in a 1 on 1 setting so you’ll get the fully dedicated time, care, and attention of your trainer! During this 4 pack of private lessons we’ll cover a variety of standard Puppy 101 subjects to help get you and your pup off on the right paw – basic obedience (sit or down, heel, place, recall), and potty training. In addition to helping with basic obedience, this course seeks to prevent predictable puppy problems and break puppy habits like mouthing, jumping, resource guarding, and chewing. Due to the 1 on 1 nature of this bundle, there is no socialization aspect to this program unless you get one of the puppy packages.
Complete Puppy Package – $849
Our Complete Puppy Package is our most complete option for setting your puppy up for success! It includes: Puppy 101 (or Puppy Private Training), Puppy 201, 4 Group Obedience Classes, and an 8 Week Agility Class. The retail value of this program is over $1100, but when you book up front your investment is $849! To book this program follow our Book Now button. Basic Puppy Package – $649
Our Basic package is similar to the Complete package – just without the agility course. It includes: Puppy 101 (or Puppy Private Training), Puppy 201, 4 Group Obedience Classes. The retail value of this bundle is over $800, but by booking up front your cost is $649! To book this program follow our Book Now button. Private Dog Training - In home
KC Dawgz also offers private 1:1 in-home dog training for your convenience! This is a great option for clients who may be limited on time, have issues with problematic behaviors specific to the home environment, or even those who simply can’t join us at KC Dawgz Dog Training Academy. Additionally, families may find this training option helpful to allow themselves an opportunity to take a hands-on approach in the training of their dog in the comfort of their home. This program is offered at homes and locations within a 25 minute radius of the Training Academy (Overland Park, Mission, Mission Farms, Lenexa, Leawood, Shawnee, Kansas City metro, Prairie Village, Lee Summit, Olathe, Merriam, Stilwell, etc.)
4 Sessions: $599 (Approximately up to 2 Desired Behaviors)
8 Sessions: $999 (Approximately up to 3 Desired Behaviors)
Each lesson is 60mins in duration at YOUR home. (In-home training must be done within 25 minutes of KC Dawgz. We can go further distances for a convenience fee dependent on the distance.)
Virtual Training
Thanks to our digital training services, now, our customized dog training services can come to you! You’ll work one on one with one of our trainers via Zoom on a customized training program specially developed for your dog. This training option includes specific commands, potty training, socialization, and training to prevent bad habits, according to your dog’s needs. Each session is a 30 minute lesson scheduled according to your availability!
4 Sessions: $299 (Approximately up to 2 Desired Behaviors)
Cancellation policy: Once clients begin the private training session/packages they are nonrefundable.
No-show/cancellation of a session policy: clients must give 24-hour notice via email or phone but they would like to alter or shift private training sessions. If this provision is not met it will count as a session.
Vaccination requirements: Rabies (up to date), Distemper/Parvo (up to date), Bordetella (every 6 months)
